Design is a powerful and thought-provoking means of defining our relationship to our environment. We believe that every decision is an environmental decision, and that all projects are environmental projects, whether we are designing furniture, a building or a landscape. Through the design process, we examine when and how environmental value is manifest in a project for creative, poetic and practical solutions. To do this, evolveEA creates a collaborative design process, engaging experts and stakeholders to inform the solutions. Through our experience in projects at every scale, we have built regional and national strategic alliances to help link the latest technologies and ideas with our client’s needs.
The principals of evolveEA have been involved in a broad variety of project sizes and types that have been recognized with regional and national design awards. We have experience working with regional and national clients such as General Dynamics, the Carnegie Museums and the Soffer Organization. Many of these projects address environmental issues directly and are pursuing or have achieved a LEED Green Building Rating, including the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank and Conservation Consultants Incorporated (CCI) Center.
The work of evolveEA’s principals has been recognized in national in international competitions and has received numerous design awards.
